The China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) founded on 20 March 2009, is a non-governmental organization and a new type of think tank registered with and approved by the relevant authorities of the Chinese government.
The China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) founded on 20 March 2009, is a non-governmental organization and a new type of think tank registered with and approved by the relevant authorities of the Chinese government. Guided by the philosophy of “Originality, Objectivity, Rationality and Compatibility”, CCIEE aims to serve national development, improve people’s welfare and promote exchanges and cooperation by conducting research on strategic and economic issues both at home and abroad, developing international exchanges and cooperation, providing consulting services and intellectual support to the government and businesses in decision making.

CCIEE is committed to major strategic and forward-looking research in areas of national economic and social development, reform and opening up. Many of its proposals have been adopted and translated into national strategies, government decisions and policies. CCIEE has been providing policy support for regional development, and has provided policy and planning advice for major regional development projects. CCIEE is actively conducting international exchanges and cooperation and has created many high-end exchange platforms such as the Global Think Tank Summit, High-level Policy Forum on Global Governance, China-U.S. CEO and Former Senior Officials' Dialogue, China-EU CEO and Former Senior Officials' Dialogue, China-Japan CEO and Former Senior Officials' Dialogue, China-ROK CEO and Former Senior Officials' Dialogue. Focusing on major issues such as the global economic and trade situation, BRI, global governance, and bilateral economic and trade relations, the in-depth exchanges and discussions have yielded many constructive policy recommendations.
