Mr. Chen Gongyan, who was born in 1962, is former chairman of Securities Association of China, Executive Vice President of Central Huijin Investment Ltd., President of China Galaxy Financial Holdings Limited，China Galaxy Securities Co., Ltd and China Securities Internet System Co., Ltd.  After graduating from Anhui University, Peking University and Tongji University, he has gained Bachelor of Economics, Master degree of foreign history of economic thought, and PhD in technical economy and management. In his early career, he served as associate research fellow of the Development Research Center of the State Council, Director and Vice President of Beijing Commodity Exchange. He then joined China Securities Regulatory Commission, where he held various positions, including Head of IT Service Center, Assistant Counsel of the Policy Research Center, Deputy Director of Institutional Supervision Department and Director of the Risk Disposal Office of Securities Firms. Then he served as the Party Secretary and President of China Securities Investor Protection Fund Co., Ltd.
