Professor Jun Ma, Chief Physician, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Director of Harbin Hematology and Oncology Institute, Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO), Vice President of the Asian Society of Clinical Oncology, Chair of the Leukemia Expert Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology, Head of the Oncology Expert Group of the National Health Commission’s Capacity Building and Continuing Education Center, and Editor-in-Chief of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Journal.

Professor Ma has dedicated his career to the diagnosis and treatment of hematological malignancies, particularly leukemia and lymphoma. In 1982, he pioneered the establishment of an in vitro multi-potent hematopoietic progenitor cell culture system in China, filling a domestic gap. Since 1983, he has treated over 1,200 cases of acute promyelocytic leukemia with a sequential regimen of retinoic acid and arsenic trioxide, achieving a 10-year disease-free survival rate of 85%, reaching international advanced levels. He has published over 200 papers in domestic and international journals and authored more than 40 books. He has received 30 national, provincial, and municipal scientific and technological awards, and led 8 major national 863 research projects and 25 provincial and municipal scientific research topics.
