Martin is a Senior Partner in McKinsey's London office and has extensive global experience across US, Europe and Asia. He joined McKinsey in 1992. Martin leads our Global Pharmaceutical and Medical Products Practice (PMP). He is responsible for our overall client service agenda, our knowledge and research priorities, our offerings to clients and the development of our people.
He has also spoken widely including at the Financial Times conference, AsiaPac MedTech Forum, EUCOMED and St Petersburg economic forum, among others. He has written and spoken frequently on globalisation. He has published in the Harvard Business Review (2013) and led a panel on emerging markets at the Economist conference. Martin also hosted the GM panel discussion at 2017 BioCentury China Healthcare Summit in Shanghai.
Martin's primary areas of client focus span biopharmaceuticals, medical products and consumer goods. He works on all elements of commercial strategy and execution, organisation, strategy and post-merger integration, including 15 integrations, 30+ brand launches and product growth strategies, multiple capability building efforts (advanced analytics; digital; outcomes; key account management; market access/pricing) as well as numerous global, regional and local organisational re-design efforts and confidential strategic initiatives. Martin joined McKinsey from INSEAD (Dean’s List) where he earned an MBA in general management.
